We are seeking a personable, motivated individual to join our organization as a Service Advisor. As part of our customer service team, you are the first point of contact for both walk-in and phone customers. You assist customers in determining their present repair or maintenance needs, provide education regarding the benefits of standard maintenance schedules, and make appointments for maintenance services. You take customer vehicle data, perform follow-up calls and communication, and assist in all aspects of the customer's experience. Our ideal candidate has prior experience in an automotive repair environment, prior experience as a Service Advisor is required. This position requires you to have moderate computer proficiency, strong organizational skills, and superb interpersonal and communication skills.

Service Advisor Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and answer phones
  • Help customers determine their service and maintenance needs
  • Set appointments for both mobile and in shop work
  • Specify, quote and order parts
  • Create estimates, gain approvals, and invoice upon work completion
  • Provide information regarding standard maintenance schedules and benefits
  • Record all pertinent customer vehicle information
  • Perform follow-up calls and emails
  • Make, change, and cancel service appointments as necessary
  • Close out service orders and collect payment

Service Advisor Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Prior experience in an automotive repair environment
  • Prior experience as a Service Advisor required
  • Proficiency with common office and productivity software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
